Met with Douglas of D Stephen Design and Kaunis Hetki Photography (Miami, FL) for an evening shoot in Denver, CO. First shot at this floral wall where we experience technical difficulties. Douglas and his equipment were not used to Colorado November nights! Then we traveled about Denver’s union station and ended our evening by sneaking into a late night bar and restaurant for an ambient lighted adventure. UNfortunately, we were spotted by some intoxicated customers who wanted in on the action!!!

I met with Drew of Blue Sparrow Photography at his Denver studio. He gave me a tour of his artist co-op 1800s spread and we began discussing the details of our planned shoot. We flipped through alt-fashion magazines and determined that the next move for my portfolio is a fashion editorial spread. We want to go for a “3am coming down off heroine” look. Dark and edgy, yet classy and elegant. We ran a few test shots, setting up “fashion” lighting and getting to know how each other worked. The test shots came out very nice and I am excited to see what we can create together!
